Stock Controller

About the role
We are looking for a meticulous Stock Controller to manage incoming deliveries and maintain accurate inventory records at our Hout Bay facility. The role involves ensuring that stock is received, verified, stored and rotated according to company standards while supporting the wider operations team.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and check all incoming stock and deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Capture stock data accurately in the inventory system.
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock counts and reconcile variances.
- Monitor and control wastage, damages and stock rotation.
- Maintain clean and organised receiving and storage areas.
- Collaborate with management and operational departments to ensure smooth stock flow.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in stock control or receiving.
- Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and administration skills.
- Valid driver’s licence.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MarketMan inventory software.
- Computer literacy.
