Staff Accountant – Remote (US Hours)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to join our team remotely, working US business hours (9 am‑5 pm EST). The role involves full‑cycle accounting across several entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting process improvements through automation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑cycle accounting activities for multiple entities, including month‑end and year‑end close.
• Manage accounts payable, cash postings, and payroll journal entries.
• Record and maintain accruals and complete account reconciliations, investigating any discrepancies.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and implement workflow improvements using automation and AI‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 3‑5+ years of hands‑on full‑cycle accounting experience.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
