Specialist Frame Maker

About the role

Bravo Brands is seeking a Specialist Frame Maker to join its Prototype department in the Lounge Division. The role focuses on building timber prototype frames from design drawings and supporting the transition of new frame products to full‑scale production.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret design drawings and construct prototype timber frames to meet the design brief.
• Produce assembly jigs, templates and factory markers for new products, ensuring efficient and economical manufacturing.
• Operate woodworking machinery, including routers and CNC equipment, while adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with design and technical teams to industrialise new frame products on the factory floor.
• Assist the production team with frame‑related issues, providing technical support to maintain product quality.

Required profile

• Matric/Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar frame‑making or carpentry role.
• Formal N3 Carpentry and Joinery training.
• Strong attention to detail, drive for results, and ability to innovate and collaborate.

Required skills

• Proficiency with woodworking machinery.
• Experience operating CNC routers.
• Jig and template fabrication.
• Prototype timber frame construction.
• N3 Carpentry and Joinery competency.
