Solution Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Solution Architect to join a global investment advisory firm. The role focuses on designing and delivering enterprise‑wide solutions that support finance transformation, integration, and data governance while leveraging modern cloud and AI technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and document current business operations and application landscapes.
• Develop architecture components aligned with enterprise strategy and finance transformation goals.
• Design robust integration patterns, including APIs, middleware, and event‑driven architectures.
• Produce high‑quality artifacts that follow Enterprise Architecture standards and reference models.
• Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Security, and Data teams to translate functional and non‑functional requirements into implementable designs.
• Define data architecture, migration, and governance strategies to ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as the primary technical liaison between internal teams and system integration partners.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate architectural risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in IT Solution Architecture within large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems) is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of security, risk, and regulatory compliance in financial systems.

Required skills

• Enterprise integration patterns (APIs, middleware, event‑driven architectures).
• Cloud‑based architecture with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Enterprise frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
