Software Engineer – .NET & Cloud Development

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join a fully remote development team that builds and modernises a large‑scale enterprise SaaS platform. You will work on complex features, influence technical decisions and deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable software for high‑volume business users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and modern .NET/ASP.NET Core.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third‑party services.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable code.
• Write unit, integration and automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments.
• Support cloud‑hosted environments, monitoring and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience with C# and modern .NET technologies.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented design, dependency injection and separation of concerns.
• Experience building secure web applications, including authentication, authorisation and role‑based access control.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server and ORM tools like Entity Framework Core.
• Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment and communicating with cross‑functional teams.
