About the role
The Software Engineer III is responsible for analysing, designing, building and testing highly complex software applications. Working closely with systems designers, the role focuses on delivering sustainable, innovative solutions that meet rigorous specifications and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform system analysis, design, creation and testing of large‑scale, high‑complexity applications.
- Collaborate with systems designers to develop new, sustainable software solutions.
- Lead technical design, development, maintenance and support activities across the product lifecycle.
- Apply deep, specialised knowledge to adapt solutions within required frameworks.
- Mentor and guide other developers, fostering a high‑performing engineering team.
- Produce advanced technical documentation, including use‑case diagrams and related artefacts.
Required profile
- Proven experience in designing and delivering complex software systems.
- Strong ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior team members.
- Excellent technical writing skills for creating use‑case documentation and diagrams.
- Deep specialised knowledge in relevant development frameworks and standards.
