Software Engineer – Full‑Stack & Cloud Native

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to join our high‑performing technology team in Stellenbosch. You will own the full lifecycle of enterprise applications, from architecture and development to deployment and operational support, driving innovation across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modern web applications and backend services using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Build scalable RESTful APIs and responsive front‑end interfaces.
• Administer Kubernetes clusters, ensuring availability, scalability and performance.
• Maintain Linux‑based infrastructure and production environments.
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery.
• Design, optimise and manage relational databases for high‑volume workloads.
• Implement security best practices, including authentication, encryption and secure communications.
• Monitor application health, troubleshoot incidents and provide production support.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a full‑stack developer with a strong focus on cloud‑native technologies.
• Hands‑on expertise in Kubernetes, Linux, and containerisation.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD processes.
• Ability to design scalable architectures and optimise database performance.
