Software Development Engineer – AWS Support

About the role

Join the Kumo team within Amazon Web Services to build and enhance the platforms that enable customers to communicate directly with AWS Support engineers. You will work on cloud‑native services that power critical customer‑facing tools such as Trusted Advisor, AWS Health, and the Support Center.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain communication services that allow customers to reach AWS Support via multiple channels.
• Implement solutions using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and related services.
• Ensure high availability and reliability through multi‑region deployment and automated pipelines.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues using CloudWatch and other observability tools.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and customer teams to continuously improve the user experience.

Required profile

• Software engineering experience building scalable, cloud‑native applications.
• Familiarity with modern development practices, continuous delivery, and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a globally distributed team.
