Software Development Engineer, AWS Kumo Health Experience

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Kumo Health Experience team. The team builds innovative, AI‑driven support solutions that help Amazon employees resolve IT issues quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end services for the Kumo Health Experience platform.
• Contribute to a service‑oriented architecture that integrates with many Amazon systems.
• Implement features using Kotlin, Java, and JavaScript, and front‑end frameworks such as React and Node.
• Leverage AWS services (e.g., Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, AppSync, KMS, Connect, Lex, Kendra, Redshift, QuickSight, DynamoDB) to build scalable, secure solutions.
• Apply machine‑learning models to predict user intent, personalize content, and automate issue resolution via chatbots.
