Software Development Engineer – AWS Kumo Health Experience

About the role

Amazon Web Services is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join the Kumo Health Experience team. You will help build and scale the support platform that powers IT assistance for Amazon employees, leveraging modern cloud technologies and machine‑learning driven automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end services within a Service‑Oriented Architecture that integrates with many Amazon systems.
• Implement features using Kotlin, Java, and JavaScript, and front‑end frameworks such as React and Node.
• Utilize AWS native services including Route53, Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, AppSync, KMS, Connect, Lex, Kendra, Redshift, QuickSight, and DynamoDB.
• Work with open‑source technologies like Elastic Search to deliver searchable self‑service content.
• Apply machine‑learning models to predict user intent, personalize content, and automate issue resolution through chatbots.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with experience building scalable, cloud‑native applications.
• Ability to work across the full technology stack and collaborate with multiple teams.
