Software Developer Learnership (12‑month)

About the role

IoT.nxt, in partnership with Limco Consulting, is offering a 12‑month Software Developer Learnership (NQF Level 5). The programme combines classroom learning with hands‑on workplace experience, enabling unemployed learners to earn a nationally recognised qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in software development projects under the guidance of senior developers.
• Assist in coding, testing and debugging basic applications.
• Support the creation and maintenance of IoT‑related software solutions.
• Engage in regular training sessions to build foundational programming skills.
• Collaborate with team members to solve simple technical problems.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• South African citizenship.
• Currently unemployed and not enrolled in another learnership.
• Clear criminal record.
• Curious mindset with a passion for problem‑solving.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
