Social Media Manager (Mid Level) – Durban North

About the role

We are looking for a mid‑level Social Media Manager to join our team in Durban North. The role will drive content creation, community engagement and performance analysis across our digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Write and edit social and digital copy, respond to audience interactions.
• Manage community activities including website oversight, influencer lists, platform optimisation, live coverage and competition management.
• Support media partners and develop best‑practice guidelines.
• Track, analyse and report on social performance metrics.
• Contribute to overall content strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in an advertising agency environment.
• Degree or diploma in marketing, copywriting, public relations, brand strategy or journalism.
• Excellent English copy‑editing, proofreading and writing abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication, time‑management and deadline‑driven work ethic.
• Creative, inquisitive, team‑oriented, proactive and passionate about digital brand work.
