Social Media Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Social Media Manager to join our Omni department at the Cape Town head office. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will shape and execute our social media strategy to enhance brand storytelling, grow our audience, and drive engagement across all platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Create, edit, and publish daily content, managing the social media calendar.
• Lead paid social campaigns, set objectives, and measure ROI.
• Monitor community interactions, respond promptly, and uphold brand voice.
• Develop audience targeting strategies using demographics, interests, and look‑alike audiences.
• Report on analytics, social listening, SEO, and web traffic metrics.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful social initiatives.

Required profile

• Matric and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (desirable).
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing social media campaigns for corporations, agencies, or social‑focused companies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adopt the brand’s tone.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to adapt quickly to changing platforms and technologies.
