Social Media & E-commerce Sales Specialist

About the role

A UK-based technology business supplying IT hardware, refurbished technology and digital solutions to schools, businesses, charities and public-sector organisations is recruiting a Social Media & E-commerce Sales Specialist. The position is fully remote, permanent and full-time, with Monday to Friday working hours in UK business time, starting as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Social media management: develop strategies, create and schedule content on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, run LinkedIn campaigns for UK schools and businesses, maintain brand consistency and track engagement and leads.
• E-commerce management: own the online store, manage product listings and content, update website content and campaigns, and track performance to grow online sales.
• Sales and lead generation: turn digital enquiries into commercial opportunities, target B2B customers and work with the sales team to meet revenue targets.
• Creative design and website support: produce graphics and multimedia content with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and help with website design and content updates on Shopify, WooCommerce or similar platforms.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in social media management and e-commerce, including managing an online store.
• Proven ability to generate leads, enquiries or sales through digital marketing, and experience with LinkedIn marketing campaigns.
• Good understanding of B2B marketing and commercial sales objectives, excellent written and spoken English, and strong organisation skills.
• Advantageous: experience in IT hardware or technology distribution, marketing to UK customers, or targeting schools and public-sector organisations.
