Social media & digital marketing specialist

About the role

Agrico is seeking a passionate and experienced Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist to strengthen its brand presence across multiple online channels. You will create and execute strategies that engage growers and expand the audience for our agricultural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy for key platforms.
• Create engaging copy, images, videos and reels that reflect the Agrico brand.
• Plan, schedule and publish content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other channels.
• Monitor and manage online communities, responding to comments and messages.
• Run and optimise paid media campaigns on Meta, Google and LinkedIn.
• Analyse performance data, produce reports and recommend improvements based on digital trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support and drive marketing campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or a related field.
• Proven ability to create content, grow audiences and drive conversions.
• Strong writing and editing skills in both Afrikaans and English (non‑negotiable).
• Experience managing paid campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work at a fast pace and travel for content‑creation purposes.
