SOC Intern – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term (Hybrid)

About the role

Join S‑RM’s fast‑growing Cyber Security division as a SOC Intern. You will work in a hybrid environment, supporting managed detection and response services for our clients while gaining hands‑on experience in a real Security Operations Centre.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security alerts from EDR, SIEM and other tools to identify suspicious activity.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, executing containment, mitigation and remediation steps.
• Conduct proactive threat‑hunting activities to uncover indicators of compromise.
• Tune detection rules and automate workflows to improve incident detection accuracy.
• Perform in‑depth log analysis and contribute to the development of security playbooks.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or student pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field.
• Familiarity with security operations tools such as SIEM, SOAR and EDR.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.
• Willingness to work both remotely and on‑site for collaboration and learning.
