SOC Analyst – Managed Detection & Response

About the role

Join S‑RM’s fast‑growing Cyber Security division as a SOC Analyst, delivering managed detection and response services for a diverse client base. You will work with cutting‑edge security platforms to protect organisations from evolving threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts from EDR, SIEM and other tools to detect suspicious activity.
• Investigate and respond to incidents, performing containment, mitigation and remediation.
• Conduct threat hunting and tune detection rules to improve accuracy.
• Analyse logs from firewalls, endpoints and other sources.
• Collaborate with the threat intelligence team and maintain incident documentation.
• Participate in a 24/7 shift rotation, including evenings, nights and weekends.

Required profile

• 2–3 years experience in a SOC environment with hands‑on incident response.
• Proficiency with XDR and SIEM platforms such as SentinelOne Singularity or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience with EDR solutions like SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or CrowdStrike.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 security monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA CySA+, SC‑100, GCIH, CSA) are a plus.
