Site Technician

About the role

The Site Technician will deliver operation and maintenance (O&M) services for wind turbine generators (WTG) in line with project schedules and company specifications. This role ensures continuous turbine performance through troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, retrofits, inspections, and reporting to customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Implement O&M services for wind turbines according to project timelines and company standards.
• Respond quickly to electrical, mechanical, and software issues, performing troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Carry out defect‑elimination tasks and analyse turbine operation data to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding completed and upcoming services.
• Execute pre‑COD activities such as checklist and manual reviews, and post‑COD inspections and non‑scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect installation work performed by contractors on site.
• Manage warehouse inventory, ordering materials, tools, and spare parts as needed.
• Perform record‑keeping, administrative duties, and any other tasks assigned by the company.
• Adhere to HSE requirements, report hazards and incidents promptly, and participate in HSE initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in wind turbine operation and maintenance or a similar industrial environment.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction and internal coordination.
