Site Road Supervisor – Woolworths Operations

About the role

The Site Road Supervisor will ensure smooth and effective daily operations for Woolworths road logistics at the Cape Town site. You will oversee drivers, manage performance, and maintain high service standards while supporting administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee overall site operations and supervise drivers and service levels.
• Capture freight using BluJay and the client portal, ensuring routes are followed.
• Monitor compliance, SLA performance, and generate daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Handle exceptions, queries, and client communications regarding deviations.
• Plan and allocate staff resources, manage leave, and conduct staff training.
• Support efficient vehicle loading, utilization, and stock reconciliation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics or courier environment.
• Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence (or in process).
• Reliable personal transport.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under pressure.
• Experience supervising diverse teams and delivering high morale.
• Excellent communication and client liaison skills.
