Site Reliability Engineer – Content Intelligence & Regulatory Apps

About the role

impact.com is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Content Intelligence & Regulatory Apps (CIRA) group. You will own and grow the reliability practice for services that index, monitor, and enrich social and web content on our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage service‑level objectives (SLOs) and indicators (SLIs) for GCP‑based services.
• Establish error budgets, baselines, and runbooks in partnership with squad leads.
• Build observability, audit trails, and secure operational practices.
• Instrument Java Spring services, tune the JVM, and harden infrastructure.
• Provide frameworks, tooling, and habits to enable reliable service delivery across squads.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Cloud Operations, security, and DevOps teams.

Required profile

• Software‑engineering mindset with strong SRE discipline experience.
• Ability to drive reliability, resilience, data integrity, and compliance.
• Comfort working in a stable platform environment focused on long‑term reliability over short‑term feature velocity.
