Site Manager (Mining)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead daily operations at our mining sites in the Northern Cape. The role involves delivering projects on time, maintaining high safety standards, and driving productivity and profitability across the division.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site activities, ensuring compliance with client contracts and safety regulations.
• Coordinate schedules, resources, and equipment to meet project timelines.
• Maintain professional appearance of staff, offices, vehicles and stores.
• Conduct daily safety, quality and control inspections.
• Mentor and develop staff, mediate on‑site conflicts and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Control costs, track budgets and monitor work progress against standards.
• Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc progress reports to internal teams and clients.
• Enforce workplace policies, risk assessments and site compliance for employees, visitors and equipment.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or Matric; Degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Business Development Management Certificate preferred.
• 3‑5 years experience in contracts management, relationship management and site supervision.
• Valid driver’s licence and medical fitness to travel.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
