About the role
We are building relationships with Mechanical Engineers who have mining and industrial experience. The role focuses on mechanical equipment, process plants, bulk material handling, piping, and industrial infrastructure in the Cape Town area.
Key responsibilities
- Provide mechanical engineering expertise within mining, industrial or process environments.
- Design, calculate and document mechanical systems, including pumps, piping, tanks and conveyors.
- Select, specify and integrate equipment for plant and material‑handling projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects.
- Support site commissioning, installation and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Required profile
- BEng, BSc, BTech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- ECSA registration is advantageous.
