Site Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Henry Fagan Consulting Engineers & Project Managers is seeking an experienced Site Manager to act as the Project Manager’s representative on construction sites in Gauteng. You will oversee daily site activities, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and provide regular progress updates.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange site access, manage line outages and coordinate line crossing arrangements.
• Monitor quality control, conduct line inspections and oversee take‑over/handover processes.
• Maintain site administration, filing, correspondence and accurate site diaries.
• Implement cost, time and quality control measures and report on project risk and safety plans.
• Resolve disputes, manage the site team and update the project execution plan.
• Verify material quantities and quality, manage storage, and report defects.
• Maintain the drawing register, support commissioning of new assets and supply data for the Power Site Management System.

Required profile

• National Technical Diploma (College/TVET) in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering with 10 years experience, OR
• National Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering with 5 years experience.
