Site Laboratory Quality Manager

About the role

A leading company is looking for an experienced, detail‑oriented Site Laboratory Quality Manager to ensure that all site laboratories operate in full compliance with SANAS 17025 standards. The role involves overseeing multiple laboratories, driving continuous improvement, and travelling regularly to remote sites.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain laboratories according to SANAS 17025 requirements.
• Oversee equipment calibration, environmental controls, and quality systems.
• Conduct internal audits and compliance inspections across sites.
• Identify non‑conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Train laboratory staff on compliance best practices.
• Maintain accurate audit, corrective‑action, and quality documentation.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and authorities.
• Continuously monitor and improve laboratory quality processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years experience in laboratory quality or compliance management.
• Hands‑on knowledge of SANAS 17025 standards.
• Strong auditing, documentation and reporting experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel 1‑2 weeks per month.
• Computer literacy with compliance‑related software.
