About the role
Surge Staffing Solutions is recruiting an experienced Site Engineer for a permanent position on a roads and earthworks project in Transkei. The engineer oversees day-to-day site operations, manages quality and compliance, supervises construction teams and ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget, working with contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
Required profile
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering (minimum)
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience on roads and earthworks projects
- Experience on major bulk earthworks projects is highly advantageous
Required skills
- Strong site management and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards and quality control
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
