About the role
An electrical contracting company that designs, constructs and installs electrical, control and instrumentation systems is looking for a new member to join its tendering and estimating team. Most of the company's work comes from winning tenders.
Key responsibilities
- Follow up on submitted tenders.
- Read and understand specifications compiled by consulting engineers.
- Understand drawings compiled by consulting engineers.
Required profile
- Electrical experience; an electrical qualification is beneficial.
- Ability to communicate with engineers, suppliers and main contractors.
- Affinity for detail, as the position involves large financial values.
- Reliable transportation to the offices from Monday to Friday.
- English speaking; Afrikaans would be beneficial as a second language.
Required skills
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Reading and understanding electrical control system drawings and specifications.
What we offer
- Package of R20k per month, negotiable.
