Shop Assistant / Cashier (x2)

About the role

Clicks Group is recruiting two Shop Assistants / Cashiers at Clicks Springs Mall in Springs, Gauteng. This is a permanent, entry-level retail position centred on customer service, POS operations, cash handling and merchandising.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the POS system accurately.
• Scan products and process payments.
• Handle cash safely.
• Promote the Clicks ClubCard and inform customers about promotions.
• Provide professional customer service in a busy retail environment.
• Maintain merchandising standards and perform general housekeeping.
• Keep product knowledge up to date.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (essential); Grade 12 Maths 50% and Grade 12 English 50%.
• Basic maths and numeracy skills.
• Good communication skills and computer literacy.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Retail or FMCG experience and customer-facing experience are advantageous but not mandatory.
