Sales Consultant Internship

About the role

African Independent Brokers is recruiting a Sales Consultant intern in Springs, Gauteng. The internship is open to unemployed graduates aged 18 to 30 who hold a Matric plus a National Diploma or degree in a related field and are South African citizens. No prior experience is required.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with prospective clients and give them detailed information about the company and its services.
• Upsell and cross-sell new products or services to existing customers.
• Keep accurate and relevant information on endorsed products and services readily available.
• Follow up with interested clients and answer their questions.
• Develop sales and marketing strategies to reach targeted goals.
• Foster client loyalty through excellent customer service.
• Maintain existing business relationships and build partnerships with dealers.

Required profile

• Matric plus a National Diploma or degree in a related field.
• Unemployed and between 18 and 30 years old.
• South African citizen.
• Willingness to work from the office in Springs, Gauteng.

Required skills

• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer usage and software applications.
• Proactive, strategic approach, meeting deadlines and achieving sales targets.
