Shift Lead – Braamfontein

About the role

The Shift Lead will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering excellent service and operational performance at Nando’s Braamfontein. This full‑time position combines financial oversight, stock control, staff coordination and marketing execution to ensure a smooth, profitable shift.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily financial administration, monitor gross profit margins, and take corrective actions on sales, waste, and payroll performance.
• Oversee stock control, conduct health‑and‑safety, maintenance and hygiene checks, and report any issues.
• Assist in creating weekly rosters, handle opening and closing procedures, and support recruitment, induction and ongoing training of staff.
• Maintain attendance records, enforce disciplinary standards and provide continuous feedback to team members.
• Help implement national, regional and local marketing campaigns and respond to customer complaints according to company policy.

Required profile

• Experience in restaurant or hospitality operations with a focus on financial and stock management.
• Ability to conduct compliance checks and support audit improvements.
• Strong organisational skills for rostering, attendance tracking and training coordination.
• Customer‑focused attitude with capability to handle complaints and support marketing initiatives.
