Sewing Line Supervisor

About the role

Our client is looking for a hands‑on Sewing Line Supervisor to lead daily operations on a fast‑paced production floor. You will be responsible for meeting production targets, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely delivery while motivating the sewing team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily sewing line activities.
• Monitor production output and ensure targets are met on schedule.
• Provide hourly production updates to the planning department.
• Identify and escalate any delays, machine issues, or quality concerns.
• Maintain workflow efficiency and productivity on the line.
• Lead, motivate, and support sewing line staff.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and production requirements.

Required profile

• Matric certificate.
• Strong knowledge of sewing processes and garment production.
• Good leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
• High attention to detail and a quality‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within a sewing department; supervisory experience advantageous.
