About the role
The Service to Sales Retention Specialist will convert service department leads into vehicle sales, building lasting relationships with existing customers and guiding them through the purchase process.
Key responsibilities
- Identify replacement opportunities from the service department and customer database.
- Engage customers to understand current and future vehicle needs and conduct professional sales consultations.
- Arrange test drives, vehicle demonstrations, appraisals and trade‑in assessments.
- Prepare quotations, discuss finance options and value‑added products, and negotiate deals.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, manage the sales pipeline and follow up until a decision is made.
- Collaborate closely with the Service Department while taking ownership of the sales outcome.
Required profile
- Matric/Grade 12 qualification and a valid driver’s licence.
- Fluency in Afrikaans.
- Proven motor sales experience with a strong track record.
- Good knowledge of vehicle running costs and ability to handle objections.
- Friendly, cheerful, vibrant, approachable and self‑motivated personality.
