Service Technician - Millwright

About the role

The Service Technician – Millwright will provide technical support for a leading supplier of mineral processing equipment. Working both in the workshop and on‑site at mining operations, you will ensure equipment is refurbished, assembled, commissioned and maintained to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complete mechanical refurbishments of crushers, screens, sorters and related plant equipment.
• Carry out electrical servicing, repairs and control‑instrumentation maintenance.
• Replace bearings, shafts, liners, motors, drives and gearboxes as required.
• Execute preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks to maximise plant availability.
• Assemble new crushing equipment and assist with commissioning and installation.
• Inspect components for wear, conduct fault finding and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain workshop quality standards and adhere to OEM specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical refurbishment of mineral processing equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical and control‑instrumentation servicing.
• Ability to work safely in both workshop and field environments.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering reliable technical service.
