Service Consultant - Commissions Contact Centre

About the role

Discovery Central Services is hiring a Service Consultant for its Commissions department in Sandton, Gauteng. The consultant provides professional support to broker houses and franchises by handling billing and commission enquiries, mostly by telephone, with occasional email. The role suits someone with at least one year of call centre experience in financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Handle predominantly telephonic enquiries, with occasional email communication, and answer inbound calls promptly and professionally.
• Assist broker houses and franchises with billing and commission-related enquiries.
• Support enquiries relating to Discovery Health, Life, Group Life and Vitality.
• Prepare or submit reports to brokers and contribute to process improvements and internal control procedures.
• Communicate clearly with business partners about financial services products and commission processes.

Required profile

• At least one year of call centre experience in the financial services industry.
• Matric level education.
• Strong customer-service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage several responsibilities at once.
• Attention to detail; previous experience with Discovery Life products is advantageous but not essential.
