About the role
Blacksmith Agency builds high‑performance custom websites for clients across the US. As a Senior WordPress Developer you will lead custom WordPress projects end‑to‑end, acting as the main development contact for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Scope client work against business objectives and define the build approach.
- Lead custom WordPress builds, including themes, templates, plugins and blocks.
- Drive development efficiency by integrating AI tools throughout the process.
- Serve as the client‑facing development voice and ensure site health.
Required profile
- Strong experience with custom WordPress and PHP development.
- Ability to scope work and align it with client business goals.
- Fluency in using AI to improve development efficiency.
- Excellent client‑facing communication and English proficiency.
- Proven experience leading or owning full builds, not just ticket resolution.
