Senior Travel Call Centre Agent – GDS Expert

About the role

Join WNS South Africa as a Senior Travel Call Centre Agent, providing corporate clients with seamless travel solutions. You will work in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment, using leading Global Distribution Systems to book and manage journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer inquiries, booking changes, cancellations and other travel modifications.
• Use GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) to create and amend itineraries for international clients.
• Process financial transactions securely, adhering to verification and compliance policies.
• Deliver high‑quality customer experiences, aiming for strong CSAT scores and meeting SLA targets.
• Identify both stated and unstated customer needs and provide tailored travel recommendations.
• Report security concerns or client complaints promptly and resolve issues with a customer‑first approach.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends, in a 24/7 call‑centre environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined quality metrics.
