Senior T&I Project Manager

About the role

Tronox is seeking a Senior T&I Project Manager to lead projects at the Namakwa Sands Northern Operations on South Africa's west coast. The role focuses on delivering safe, high‑quality, low‑cost, and sustainable production tonnage through effective project lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate health and safety requirements into all project phases to achieve zero harm.
• Own project activities from design, planning, construction, supervision, to commissioning, ensuring delivery within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop clear scopes of work for effective contractor management.
• Coordinate internal and contract labour performing project tasks.
• Ensure compliance with engineering and regulatory standards, securing stakeholder approvals for any changes.
• Compile, submit and present progress reports to stakeholders.
• Support the 5‑year capital planning and budgeting process, prioritising the project portfolio.
• Track and report project costs and schedules using the EPPM system.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects across design, planning, construction, and commissioning phases in mining or industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to develop detailed scopes of work and manage contractors.
• Experience with capital planning and budgeting processes.
