Senior Technical Account Manager

About the role

This senior, customer‑facing position is focused on driving adoption and long‑term value for strategic technology accounts in South Africa. You will act as a trusted technical partner, helping customers implement solutions, overcome challenges and expand platform usage.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of strategic customers, building strong relationships with technical stakeholders and executive decision‑makers.
• Develop and execute personalized success plans to increase adoption and maximize platform value.
• Partner with Sales to deliver executive business reviews and with Support to resolve product issues.
• Advocate customer needs to Product teams, submit and prioritize feature requests, and influence roadmap decisions.
• Identify growth opportunities, mitigate churn risk, and contribute to scalable technical account management practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a customer‑facing technology role such as Technical Account Manager, Account Manager or Product Manager.
• Strong understanding of developer workflows, CI/CD pipelines and source‑control environments.
• Professional background or genuine interest in DevSecOps, application security or related cybersecurity disciplines.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab, CircleCI, Jenkins, Buildkite.
• Source‑control systems: Git, SVN, Perforce.
• Web application security concepts, including OWASP Top 10.
• DevSecOps and application security knowledge.
