Senior Solutions Architect

About the role

Cell C is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead the design and delivery of technology solutions across its Wholesale, MVNO, Retail, Digital and Core Network business units. The role bridges complex business challenges with robust technical architectures, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and customer‑centric focus.

Key responsibilities

• Champion solution architecture, design and implementation using both existing and emerging technologies.
• Analyse and design solutions that meet current and future technology needs, continuously improving processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop scalable, maintainable solutions and define integration points.
• Lead discussions, identify risks in business requirements and provide expert guidance.
• Document technical details, manage project estimates and support execution of solution designs.
• Maintain and enhance procedures, processes and designs for existing systems to deliver superior service.
• Support project implementation in the technology space and provide technical assistance for new or enhanced products.
• Contribute to the reference architecture repository, use standard templates and share information through agreed channels.
• Ensure solutions conform to design directives, standards and enterprise architecture, and help shape new standards where needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar senior technical role.
• Strong ability to translate business and technical requirements into functional specifications.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of leading and facilitating cross‑functional discussions.
• Experience with risk identification and mitigation in solution design.
• Solid documentation and estimation skills for complex technology projects.
• Knowledge of telecom, wholesale, MVNO and digital service environments is advantageous.
