Senior Software Engineer – Remote

About the role

LinkedMe Consulting is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud‑based back‑end solutions. This full‑time remote position focuses on building scalable applications on Google Cloud Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for back‑end services.
• Participate in system architecture design and technical decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software.
• Optimize and scale cloud‑based applications for performance and reliability.
• Apply object‑oriented programming principles and advanced technologies to meet project goals.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer science, algorithms, and data structures.
• Proven expertise in back‑end web development.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
• Deep understanding of OOP methodologies and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with modern development tools and version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; cloud certifications are a plus.
