Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer to join our South African hub and deliver high‑impact digital solutions for global clients. You will work closely with product, DevOps and QA teams, aligning development with UK business hours while embracing our culture of innovation and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full‑stack web applications using Next.js (frontend) and Node.js (backend).
• Build rich, user‑centric interfaces and translate UI/UX wireframes into performant, accessible code.
• Create and optimise RESTful APIs with TypeORM, focusing on strong data modelling and performance.
• Write modular, test‑driven code with comprehensive unit and integration tests (Jest, Supertest, Mocha).
• Define and manage infrastructure using Docker Compose, Terraform and deploy to AWS services (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3).
• Produce clear technical documentation following Domain‑Driven Design principles.
• Participate in code reviews, trunk‑based development, CI/CD pipelines and agile ceremonies.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong grasp of object‑oriented concepts, microservice and serverless architectures.
• Ability to work flexibly during UK business hours.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
