Senior Software Engineer (Backend) – Layer 1 Digital Asset

About the role

BVNK is building a stablecoin‑native infrastructure that enables instant, cross‑border value movement. As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) in the Layer 1 Digital Asset squad, you will design and implement the core blockchain services that power our digital‑asset payments platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services for blockchain integration, digital‑asset custody, and on‑chain transaction processing at scale.
• Build and evolve integrations with multiple blockchain networks, crypto providers, and custody infrastructure to support multi‑chain, multi‑asset operations.
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of the Layer 1 platform, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate across services such as Crypto Service, Blockchain Provider Services, Crypto Orchestration Service, and Vault Service to enable secure address generation, deposits, withdrawals, and on‑chain operations.
• Advocate for simple, effective solutions while delivering quickly and sustainably within an autonomous squad.

Required profile

• Senior‑level backend engineer with a track record of building large‑scale, high‑throughput systems.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and confidence to form and defend technical opinions.
• Comfortable working in fast‑moving, autonomous squads and delivering end‑to‑end features.
