About the role

Our client, a leading electronic payments company, is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join a fast‑paced, collaborative development team. The position is hybrid in Stellenbosch, with flexibility for fully remote senior talent.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate new clients into payment systems
• Perform development testing and maintain existing applications
• Implement enhancements and design new functionality
• Provide 3rd‑line query resolution and support
• Conduct system security audits and improve development processes
• Mentor team members and lead technical initiatives

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent training in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience
• Strong communication skills and self‑driven attitude
• Legal right to work in South Africa
