Senior Software Developer

About the role

You have built and shipped software, fixed tough problems, and now you want to lead technical direction in a growing fintech company that values clean design and scalable systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build clean, secure, well‑tested code while leading effective code reviews.
• Make architectural decisions, selecting appropriate technologies, frameworks, and patterns for scalable systems.
• Collaborate with QA to create comprehensive test plans and support the team when issues arise.
• Mentor junior and intermediate developers and lead project planning and technical direction.
• Maintain and improve existing systems to keep them efficient and functional.
• Write unit and integration tests, debug with intent, and stay current on emerging tools and trends.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree (NQF level 7) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with C#.NET.NET Core, Angular, Flutter, Node.js and SQL Server.
• Deep understanding of OOP principles and the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency with Git and testing at unit, integration and functional levels.
• Experience working in Azure and AWS environments; certifications are a plus.
• Clear communication skills and a problem‑solving mindset.
