Senior Shopify Project & Account Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Shopify Project & Account Manager to lead the delivery of multiple eCommerce initiatives for premium online brands. This remote freelance position requires a proactive, detail‑oriented professional who can manage end‑to‑end Shopify projects while nurturing strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee up to 7 concurrent Shopify, CRO, SEO and support engagements, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Maintain Asana boards, project schedules, risk logs and change‑request processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing updates via Loom, email and meetings.
• Lead recurring review calls, roadmap discussions and identify upsell or retainer opportunities.
• Facilitate weekly delivery meetings, allocate tasks across designers and developers, and conduct QA reviews.
• Mentor junior team members and escalate risks to leadership when needed.
• Contribute to SOP improvements, workflow optimisation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in project and account management within digital agencies or eCommerce environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously and work independently in a fully remote setting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Commercial mindset with experience reviewing budgets, quoting and scoping.
