Senior Sales Manager (General/Modern Trade)

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager drives sales at headquarters level, building strong customer relationships and ensuring products meet their needs. The role focuses on specific tasks or segments within a brand, channel, line, category or team, and works as an individual contributor within the immediate team.

Key responsibilities

• Support and assist in executing sales strategies across the team and organisation.
• Take part in developing and implementing new ideas, techniques, procedures, services or products under guidance.
• Focus on clearly defined, narrow objectives within a segment of the brand, channel, line, category or team.
• Collaborate and network within the immediate team to maximise impact and personal learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field.
• 4-10 years of FMCG-relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Understanding of sales strategies and techniques, and strong initiative and problem-solving.
• Analytical thinking, leadership and good multinational cooperation skills.

Required skills

• Excellent MS Office package skills, specifically MS Excel.
