Senior Quantity Surveyor – Construction

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join TCO Construction in Polokwane. The role focuses on accurate cost control, contract management and comprehensive project reporting to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery of high‑quality construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cost control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee contract administration, including JBCC, NEC and other standard agreements.
• Prepare and present regular project reports on financial performance and progress.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure delivery meets schedule, budget and quality standards.
• Lead large‑scale projects from inception to completion, handling commercial and contractual aspects.

Required profile

• National Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with senior‑level responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts (JBCC, NEC, etc.) and commercial processes.
• Proven ability to manage large projects under pressure and tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Candy Construction Software (Rib CCS).
• Familiarity with BuildSmart cost‑management tools.
