Senior Property Broker – Commercial & Residential Auctions

About the role

WH Auctioneers is seeking an experienced Senior Property Broker to lead auction mandates across commercial, industrial, residential and investment sectors. You will work from our Johannesburg office, driving new business and ensuring each mandate follows our structured auction process.

Key responsibilities

• Source, secure and manage property auction mandates.
• Build and maintain referral networks with banks, liquidators, attorneys and corporate clients.
• Negotiate mandates and advise clients on auction strategy and pricing.
• Coordinate with Broking, Advisory, Marketing and Operations teams to position properties effectively.
• Oversee auction preparation, viewings, purchaser engagement and auction‑day activities.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in property broking, commercial real estate, auctions or asset disposal.
• Valid Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC).
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Financial literacy to interpret market data, pricing trends and comparable sales.
• High professionalism, integrity and discretion handling distressed sales.

• Fidelity Fund Certificate (FFC) – mandatory credential.
