Senior Operations Manager

About the role

CBRE is looking for a Senior Operations Manager to lead the planning, delivery and performance of all contracted and operational services on site. The role blends strategic contract oversight with hands‑on technical leadership, ensuring safety, compliance and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver all in‑scope contracted work, including repairs, installations and modifications, while minimizing downtime.
• Review contract terms to ensure alignment with client expectations and company standards.
• Oversee self‑delivery and contractor activities, guaranteeing timely and efficient execution.
• Provide technical guidance on power distribution, cooling systems, networking and security protocols.
• Coordinate communication across operations, finance, legal, engineering and IT teams.
• Manage HR activities such as recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, contract management or facilities/data‑centre management with proven managerial experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CPCM, CFCM, CDCP or PMP are a plus.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of contract law and procurement processes.
• Technical knowledge of power distribution, cooling systems and networking infrastructure.
• Experience with contract management and project management software.
• Familiarity with security protocols applicable to facility operations.
