Senior Project Manager – Residential Development

About the role

We are looking for a Development Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale residential housing projects from inception to handover in the Western Cape. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on site leadership to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of residential development, from town‑planning approvals to final handover.
• Oversee project planning, coordination and execution, keeping projects within scope, budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with external professional teams and internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.
• Monitor performance, manage risks and produce detailed reports and documentation.
• Maintain a strong on‑site presence to guide and support delivery teams.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience as Development Manager, Construction Manager, Project Manager or Principal Agent/Consultant with a proven delivery record.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive site‑management background.
• Hands‑on leadership style, confident communicator and detail‑oriented strategic thinker.
