Senior .NET Developer – Banking Solutions

About the role

Our client, a leading bank, is looking for an experienced .NET Developer to design, build and maintain scalable back‑end services. You will translate business problems into secure, maintainable software and ensure reliable deployment across environments.

Key responsibilities

• Understand business problems, context and user needs.
• Design and implement physical data models from conceptual designs.
• Develop high‑quality, testable back‑end code, APIs (REST, WebSockets) and integration logic.
• Create data ingestion pipelines and stage data for processing.
• Write and run unit tests for all code produced.
• Build, test and deploy artefacts to internal and external runtime environments.
• Document technical functionality, APIs and deployment steps.
• Implement performance metrics and benchmarks.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Solid software design and architectural thinking.
• Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
• Attention to code quality, testability, performance and documentation.
• Understanding of banking data, risk management and regulatory reporting.

Required skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Advanced C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• ASP.NET Core (Minimal APIs, MVC, Web API, REST, WebSockets).
• Design patterns and architectures (SOLID, DDD, Clean Architecture, microservices, SOA).
• Dependency Injection (Microsoft DI, Autofac, Unity).
• Async/concurrency (TPL, async/await, parallel programming).
• Secure coding practices (authentication, authorisation, data protection, SQL injection mitigation).
• RDBMS expertise (SQL Server, PostgreSQL), EF Core, Dapper.
